Dr. Karen Litos, PT, DPT, WCS

Dr. Karen Litos is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, board-certified in women’s health (WCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, and holds advanced APTA credentials in pelvic floor (CAPP-Pelvic) and obstetrics (CAPP-OB) physical therapy. Dr. Litos has been a clinician over 22 years with extensive clinical experience in female pelvic health, prenatal, peripartum and postnatal recovery, and the midlife menopause transition.

She earned her physical therapy degrees from The University of Michigan (masters) and The College of St. Scholastica (doctorate). Karen has served as adjunct faculty in The University of Michigan transitional DPT program and has been active in the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health as an instructor for over ten years training physical therapists, PTAs and students in obstetrics continuing education nationally and internationally.

She recently retired from a successful and innovative private practice in the Lansing Michigan area catering to women from pregnancy through menopause called No Mom Left Behind Physical Therapy. As the co-owner of a continuing education company, www.SnowdenLitos.com, she co-authored and instructs evidence-based menopause continuing education for physical therapists and other providers to further understanding of the implications for ALL women who experience it.
